That was my first play through since the middle of last week. I just fired it up and got that score on my first go. :shock:

I was also really really close to having a much better score as the last of the springs that I needed to clear the board (for the first time in that game) popped right before when I died. :evil:

I found that getting close to 100K or better really is about striking a balance of clearing complete some rows and managing others so they don't get too long. If I can let one or two rows on each side chain out and try to keep the others in check, that seems to work best.

Got my first play in yesterday and got 24400. I don't think I got all the mechanics the first time round, I hope to put some more time in tonight.

I played the SNES one, it was only $2 at my local.

Although unlike DSheinem, I got saved by the 5 springs clearing the screen at a bad time.
