That was my first play through since the middle of last week. I just fired it up and got that score on my first go.

I was also really really close to having a much better score as the last of the springs that I needed to clear the board (for the first time in that game) popped right before when I died.

I found that getting close to 100K or better really is about striking a balance of clearing complete some rows and managing others so they don't get too long. If I can let one or two rows on each side chain out and try to keep the others in check, that seems to work best.

I played the SNES one, it was only $2 at my local.
