Here is a good guide I just came across tonight.

*Spoiler*
If you give a shit about that in a game like this.

Most important info in it for me is that is you do not use a bomb on Jitterbug when you kill him he drops a big life refill that fills you all the way. I need to get better used to his pattern so I can beat him without a bomb so I am better prepared for Tyranodragon or what ever his name is.

It's Tyranosatan. And then the boss of Deathsmiles II is Satan Claws (pronounced sah-tahn by the Japanese characters). The thing about Jitterbug's life refill is that you want to make sure you can dodge all his patterns (and the second pattern is pretty difficult. If you can no-miss up to Jitterbug and score decently you should have 5 life segments from the two score-extends. In that case I'd recommend panic bombing against him. You should be able to take him out without burning through all three bombs of your life, which leaves you with four lives worth of bombs for Tyranosatan, which is plenty.

Gamerforlife Smiles!

Woohoo! Picked up a copy at Gamestop. I love how every time I go to Gamespot it seems that whatever I'm buying sparks up a nice conversation. Guess they don't get a lot of people buying old fashioned 2-d shooters.

Love the box this thing is in, but it's going straight to my backlog unfortunately. I'm just happy to have a copy though.

This is not a backlog game. You should play the whole thing for 20-30 minutes just to experience it, and then if you want to get better at it put the time in later. Next time you sit down to watch your favorite TV show, kick yourself and go play through Deathsmiles instead.

LOL, well I'll take that into consideration. I've certainly heard and seen enough prior to buying it to believe it's an awesome game indeed.
