Sorry for the double post, but just wanted to comment that my exchange with Amazon couldn't have gone smoother. Really classy of them to send another before they received the defective one from me. And it was literally here the day after it shipped.

from what I could see it was working flawlessy, even the start button was working perfect, so I'd be fairly confident that any non-analogue PSX/PS2 controller should be almost guaranteed to workshallowgamer wrote:That would have been much more economical, as I have a shit ton of PSX sticks.baphomet_irl wrote:btw if anyone has a HRAP 2 or PSX based HORI stick - the V-Twin adapter should work - its working perfectly for my HRAP 2 on my PS3...I'm a fan of the Namco stick that was released with Tekken...2 perhaps??

On the HRAP 3 (and EX), I'd also like a little more resistance on the stick, but owell.

yeh it is a lot looser than my SANWA'd Agetec DC stick, but I have to say I actually am starting to prefer it that way - using the DC stick is beginning to feel like its wading through peanut butter as I get more used to my HORI sticks :p ...shallowgamer wrote:On the HRAP 3 (and EX), I'd also like a little more resistance on the stick, but owell.

I havent tried the HRAP with SFIV yet in this way, but the Saturn Pad works perfect with SFIV so it should definitely workbaphomet_irl wrote:from what I could see it was working flawlessy, even the start button was working perfect, so I'd be fairly confident that any non-analogue PSX/PS2 controller should be almost guaranteed to workshallowgamer wrote:That would have been much more economical, as I have a shit ton of PSX sticks.baphomet_irl wrote:btw if anyone has a HRAP 2 or PSX based HORI stick - the V-Twin adapter should work - its working perfectly for my HRAP 2 on my PS3...I'm a fan of the Namco stick that was released with Tekken...2 perhaps??

i read earlier today that the HRAP3 is easy as hell to mod, what kind of swana stick would work best for it?

You can put a stiffer spring in the JLF stick that comes installed in the HRAPs. Not sure how difficult it is, though.
I think I read somewhere that the sticks on the SFIV machines are actually Seimitsu and not Sanwa. Pretty sure Seimitsu sticks are a little stiffer and have a shorter throw. They are usually used on shmup cabs for this reason. But I could be wrong on all three accounts. I've had a shitty day at work and I'm really tired.

yeh I would deffo say that stiffer sticks are better for SHMUPS - well thats my excuse for being way worse at Ikaruga on the 360 (EX2) than on the Dreamcast (Agetec/SANWA) :pwip3outguy7 wrote:You can put a stiffer spring in the JLF stick that comes installed in the HRAPs.
