THAT sounds like the best solution, to me anyway....if the person has more than say...25? posts...feel free to post any and all ebay links ONLY DEALING WITH...games. If its a random...look at these cool shoes, im not interested lol.

But the 1 post then jet thing...i agree, THAT sucks. If they have been around and stay around, normally they are really good guys and id PREFER dealing with them even if it costs me a few extra bones for something...i found daytona usa...perfect, even had the sponge still in it...for 99cents at a local game store...if i hadnt seen it there...and it was on ebay for 4$ with shipping...but a forum member had it for 7$ with shipping...id have used the forum member.

If you can limit forsale ebay posts to atleast 25 or more posts...that would be great...or something in that area. But i do not agree with just slamming and deleteing a ebay posting only due to it being NOT something rare. Agian, i say that cause id RATHER do business with people on here that all seem legit...than using ebay and getting a ps1 game in a sega saturn box...hope that explains what im trying to say :)

edit: This is going to be a hottopic...but just to note, anytime i have seen someone say ebay auction...ive clicked it, so throwing a rule in reading something like :ALL EBAY AUCTION POSTING MUST INCLUDE EBAY IN THE TITLE: sounds great to me as well...it will make it easier for me when im looking for um lol.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

It really doesn't bother me at all when people post their eBay auctions on the sight. (Hell I do it myself.)

I like being given the chance to see what other racketeers are selling at any given moment and I might find some good items through the links. I think it's just like anything else in the FS/FTS, not sure what the big problem is. If you don't like it then simply don't click on it.

good point people,

i do like a mandatory "ebay" word in every title when the posting is for a ebay link.

im just talking about the bullshit listings seen everyday just by logging into ebay.

Does that mean I shouldn't delete all the posts from the cell phone spammers?

I've really not seen a major problem.
Most of the ebay posts i have seen have had "ebay listings" or things of that nature in the title.
But i really don't see these threads everyday or anything, but to be honest, i wouldn't mind seeing more.
I'm always looking for a deal!
Sure there's lot's of stuff on ebay, but let's face it, many of us are compulsive buyers, so when someone throws up a thread selling some items (common or uncommon - video game related of course), we look at it, see a good deal, realize that it's from a fellow RacketBoy forum member and we buy and feel good about it.
Alot of times with me, these threads bring to mind something i have been wanting to get anyway. So in my mind it's a win win!

on the other hand I really don't think it's right that people come in create an account just to post a couple ebay items and then you never hear from them again! That may be an issue that needs to be dealt with but again, i really haven't seen any major problem with that yet, imho.

Totally agree with you, I just suggested the ebay title thing because it seems to really bother a few.

I remember a guy who only posted to sell a pocket linker, still regret missing out on that one
