Another World/Out of this World

Heart of the Alien on sega cd is good, but the cut scenes are pretty bland. i kinda expected them to look better than they did.
I always liked Flashback a little more. It seemed a bit more colorful and the plot was more interesting. I like how these games feel like Prince of Persia and went on to influence games like Oddworld. It's a unique genre, a kind of puzzle platformer.

Has anyone played Generations Lost for the Genesis. Isn't it the same development team? I was it at a thrift store for 3 bucks and I was undecided.

I have out of this world for the snes and it is indeed quite the game. If you aren't into the whole trail and error style of game play, it may take a while to get into though.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Generations Lost would be a great choice if you also like Flashback. Be prepared, it is pretty difficult in some spots. It was developed by an entirely different group than Flashback/Out of This World. Another good choice in this territory is Blackthorn if you have a 32X.
