lost_within wrote::shock: just watched a small video on you tube Trigger Heart Exelica....looks AWESOME...a shooter with depth? ive never seen a shooter where you could grab a ship and swing it in a circle to take out ships...that...is awesome. Any other dreamcast greats you wanna throw my way? Just remember i dont wanna go 150$ on ONE game lol.
Just in case you didn't know already, you can get Trigger Heart Exelica on XBLA for ~10 bucks. But, problem is you need a 360. Then again, you can also get Ikaruga (another DC import shooter, similar to Radiant Silvergun) for 10 dollars as well. Don't get me wrong, I have the original games, but 10 dollars is tough to beat.

Otherwise, you like fighting games, so I'm willing to bet you will love Guilty Gear X. It never appeared on the DC in the States. If you don't have it...get it!
Ive had 2 360s...sold both lol.

But yes i have looked at guilty gear x and its def on the list of buy games. Looks and sounds awesome from what ive seen.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

My favourite Japanese import for the DC has to be either Zero Gunner 2 or Last Blade 2 Final. Under Defeat is awesome too, but totally kicks my ass. My favourite Japanese import of all time has to be the Langrisser Tribute collection for the Saturn, all the Langrisser games that matter (the first 5) in one awesomly packaged collection. Overall the Saturn has a much more varied and intresting selection of games to import imo, from awesome SHMUPS like Battle Garegga and Radiant Silvergun to unique 2d fighters like Astra Superstars and criminally overlooked platformers like Tryrush Deppy.

My favorite import I no longer own. It was Dracula X for the PC Engine. I played the hell out of that game. The HELL out of that game!

Lemme edit this to make it Sega relevant, however. I think my fave Saturn import was probably Symphony of the Night. Several of my friends (or maybe they weren't...) criticized the graphics, but I found the gameplay smoother (better hit detection on the dive attack, for example) and the extra areas and items quite fun to have. I also liked having the Japanese content restored.

Favorite Dreamcast Import I've purchased in the past? Tough question. Mines would be Cool Cool Jam. Its a rhythm-game developed by SNK. Also bought Samba De Amigo! before it hit the states.

Why'd you sell DracX?
And while the Saturn version of SOTN wasn't as graphically good as the PS version, the only area I thought it wasn't equal were those giant-floating-glowing skulls and the Genesis-like transparancies~ But hey, there was Maria.

RS & SOTN are indeed. I never played the US SOTN as I wanted the 1st run art book in the JP release. Years later I heard the US voices... Too cool for words~ :D
