I know, I know, the Sonic cycle and all that, but I'm pretty damn excited.

Eh, I wouldn't worry too much about the Sonic Cycle. Sonic's had a pretty decent half decade or so with Sonic Boom being the only real gaff. Also, the gameplay footage looks fantastic!

What I absolutely love is just how much love and attention has been put into all the small details (like using the saloon chairs, the references to random sonic characters, ALL the animations in this game).

The level design from what I've seen so far looks top notch, the graphics are like a true sonic sequel came out on the saturn, and the music, omg the music.

I think for the first time in my life I am expecting a Sonic game to be better than Sonic and Knuckles.

Still excited, but I am a little disappointed the majority of this game seems to be a nostalgia thing with mostly remixed levels. Would love to see more original stuff, even if they're doing new things with the remixed old ones.

Even though so far, other than Green Hill Zone, they've picked some of the best zones in the old games to remake, I'm with you on this one.

Though am I the only one who wishes they kind of stopped spoiling all the various zones that are going to be in the final game? Would be nice to be pleasantly surprised

Let us hope they're saving the new stuff for the surprise. So far of the new, I think we've only seen the new carnival zones?

I wonder if there will be multiple paths. I hope it's long! And I still think it's cool they're going with 3 zones per world and have the Sonic 3/S&K styled minibosses. So it will have a cool mixed flavor.

Sonic Mania looks like the game Sonic CD should have been.

I can't wait for Sonic Mania OR Sonic Forces! I've been itching for a successor to Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors and although I'm sure people groaned at the character creator 'gimmick', I think it looks really neat.
