Agreed.

Speaking of which, that Unreal Tournament Pre-Alpha is pretty awesome.

I don't even know what an arena shooter is. Did this genre exist during the Atari days?

Please tell me you're being facetious. Please tell me no one released a "Pre-Alpha"... what is it? Just a flow chart of what's supposed to happen? An ALPHA release is supposed to be barely functional, people!
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

LMAO

To be fair, guys, Bone is so hardcore into older game generations, when you say FPS he thinks of Maze War.

Perhaps I could use the term "team shooters" then? Even though teamplay is unfettered in those games, even Battlefield has suffered because it's become fast-paced in recent sequels. If I have the time for it, I prefer games like Arma or Project Reality, much better teamwork offering unexpected moments.

Speaking of the Battlefront beta, it's okay I guess, and the audio is excellent as expected from Dice. But maybe I've outgrown this type of game?
