We should pick a level for each of the first three games and have a leaderboard or something.

That sounds cool to me - i'm open to any suggestions...

I'm off to bed now and then work, but will be back on this thread in 16 hours - by all means if anyone has ideas on what games / stages / settings we can casually compete on - post it up and post your score and/or accomplishments.

I remember getting the THPS demo disc at Pizza Hut back in the day and falling in love with the games. (I think I have 6 copies of THPS2, haha) A great arcade-y skateboarding game!

The Bullring is great for scoring in THPS 2. The last time I took the game out I was breaking 900k in a 2 minute run. I'll probably spend this weekend trying to max out the score on that level.

What version is everyone playing? The Playstation one is my go to. I can't get the hang of balancing in the other versions.

Don't worry I still got your back getting the GameCube tomorrow from my sisters so I can hop on to the park creator.

Do your boys know about the hardflip trick, do a variable kickflip 180 but instead of doing the full 180 revert to your normal stance and it becomes a hardflip they never programmed this move in the game but that's the way around it. :)

I'm in for THPS 1 & 2. I'll have my Playstation up and running anyway since I just learned about MST3K mode for Rebel Assault 2.

Are we going for perfect (all tapes and all gold medals)runs or points?

We are trying to PERFECT / 100% THPS 1, 2, and 3.

We will be playing 1 and 2 on N64.

We will be playing 3 on GCN.

We will dabble with 4, Underground 1 and 2, and American Wasteland on GCN.

We will also dabble with all 4 Wii games.

Anything you want to compete in, be in a 2min run, be it completing a game, be it a hi-score trick - post it up and i'll create a table for it in the OP.

I'm going to try to pick up the Wii accessory today. I'm curious if any of the Wii games are hidden gems.

Not too much free time this weekend, but I popped in THPS this morning.

First run of Warehouse = 320,124, no specials used.

Best combo twelve tricks = bs 50 50 + pop shove it + pop shove it + bs 50 50 + Indy stiffy + pop shove it + nose grind + 720 stalefish

I'm only counting eight tricks, but that's what the game says.

And why not some THPS 2x?
