Thanks for the info, Blu! So when you mentioned those download quests earlier, i'm assuming they're available in game on Sylverant and not on the website? That would probably explain why I couldn't find them there.
Those holiday drops are too cool! I've got to get a heart of chu chu!

Re: Let's Make A Complete List Of Dreamcast DLC (With downlo
Anyone want to try compiling all these together, and hosting them somewhere? They're very tiny so a complete pack shouldn't be very big. Ideally, whoever's hosting it can keep it up to date as well.
Or maybe we could put it together into a torrent? I just don't want us to potentially lose these DLCs to the ether of the internet!

I wasn't going to say anything until it was up - But i've got a domain registered and hosting ready to go. Just waiting for the DNS servers to catch up.
Pretty barebones format at the moment, but it should be entirely supported and easily used by the planetweb browser.

This is a very dry run of the site. I designed it with my 4:3 monitor running Planetweb 2.0 in mind (except the tiny bit of JS which should work in 2.6 and up). It loads quick on dialup. It fills the monitor. It works. If your dreamcast can get online, you should be able to download any of the DLC listed on there straight to your VMU with no hassle.

Looks awesome Spoony -- I am going to fire it up sometime this evening and see if it works for me. Thanks for doing this for the community!

Thanks Blu!
Trying to clean up some of the dead links I had on the site yesterday, I finally understood what you meant about the PSO v2 DLC, haha. Its bizarre that it just doesn't work like the rest of the VMI files (while the v1 DLC does).
The site has most of what i've gone through so far, but if you end up getting a file and find that it works, let me know so I can mark it off!
Also, i've still got VMU icons (Which has helped me keep track of my PSO VMU so many times), VMU games and a fair amount of DLC to put up on there.
I've got a file that claims to be DLC for Wetrix+? I can't find any other mention of it on the internet. Its listed as "new pieces" I don't know if it's just a save file with something unlocked in game? I've never spent much time with the game.
I also found some code that claims to be a beta version of the VMU file uploader that planetweb and everyone else used to use back in the day. Its on the site and appears to be all together, I just have to test it out. I don't really want the website to become a repository for saved games, but if someone needed to use it to back up some VMU's, i'd be more than happy to let them.

For the SFA3 files, do you mind renaming the entries all to have 2-digit numbers? Instead of #1, #01? I ask because they are sorting numerically, meaning #1 comes before #10, but after #9, in your list in the OP.

Not quite sure what you're asking here. Where is it being sorted?
Just to be clear, there isn't a #1 - #3. Those files are on the actual disc.
Also, try the files on the website (http://www.dcdlc.com) instead of the files in the OP. When going through the website stuff, I found that the archived files from vacant are actually missing the .vms files (which means they don't work). On the website I found a new source that had both files.
Also, it kind of sounds like you're trying to back them up to a PC? Just a heads up for anyone trying to do that:
When backing these files up to a computer, make sure you download both the .vmi and the .vms file!
The .VMI is a file that points to the .VMS file. When you click on a link to download a file to your VMU, that link points towards the .VMI file. The .VMS has the actual save data. Both of those files have the same name. So if you're trying to backup this file:
http://dcdlc.com/fakefolder/dlc0001.vmi
Then after downloading that file, copy the URL and change it to:
http://dcdlc.com/fakefolder/dlc0001.vms
to download the VMS. When serving these files (on a disc or website) they must be in the same folder. Also, if you're getting a dead link on a .VMS file, try changing it to all upper-case (or lower-case). That part doesn't have to match the .VMI. You can end up with dlc0001.vmi paired up with dlc0001.VMS or dlc0001.VMI and dlc0001.vms.
Thanks man! Glad to see people checking it out! Hopefully people can get a bit of use out of it!

So much content! I don't know what to download first to be honest.
