When I met my wife, she lived in Federal Way and that is about 60 miles South of Marysville.

And you gotta go all the way through Seattle (or detour using 405 through Bellevue, which is just as bad if not worse). I'd much rather go 60 miles north of where I live (Shoreline) than try to do 60 miles south through the middle of Seattle.
