I even marked most of the folks in the photo for you! See how friendly we are?
These "rogues gallery" pictures always amuse me...I mean, who took the picture? How did the photographer get everyone to pose? Did she say things like, "Everyone scoot in a little closer!", "Brainiac, tilt your head a little to the left!", "Show me some teeth, Cheetah!", "I can't see your eyes, Scarecrow!", "OK...On three, everyone say 'cheese!'". Also, breaking after the phot must be a bit awkward..."OK, everyone! Now that we have a picture of us looking scary, we can get back to business! Also...thanks to Sinestro, we have cookies and lemonade in the break room if anyone is hungry or need something to drink."

Hey, you're the one that kept registering from suspicious IP pools with names that either didn't look 'gamey' enough or looked like a foreign spammer trying too hard to look All-American or whatever. You blended in with the rabble.

But seriously, sorry about that. Again.

This is a misnomer and I think part of the reason Ack started this thread. You don't know that anyone "...got off Scot free."

No one discusses any warnings, formal or informal, with any other members. No one knew you had a warning until you just posted and in the same vein, you don't who else did or didn't get warnings.

Warnings are always discussed in depth before being administered, and quite a bit of (impartial) thought is used for each warning. In fact, if any mods are involved or even have any type of negative history with a member involved, that mod recuses themselves from weighing in, for the exact reason of having it be a fair process, for when warnings are in fact needed. Also note, actual warnings (official) are quite rare.

Good question, and Fastbilly will be able to best answer. Fast is an admin and honestly, he does the heavy lifting along with another gent (not a mod). Fast fixes most issues with the forum to keep it running smoothly.

He and Ack are close irl, and they can comment on that more.

I know dsh has met a few guys irl, SB and noise, maybe others, again, he can comment more on that if he chooses.

Hobie is Mod+ and does a bit more on the member and cleanup side than regular mods.

Most mod work honestly is really boring stuff, merging similar threads, deleting spam, sending messages to not sell stuff the first 14 days, and occasionally seeing a conversation going too far off topic (or insulting, threatening, etc) and locking it down.

Don't complain. I'm a monkey.

The truth is, along with being mods, we're fallible humans. We try to make the best calls we can, and sometimes, every once in a while, we do maybe make a call that could have been made better. But we're not just the president, we're also a member. Racketboy hair club for men (and non-men humans who also want to be in a hair club).
