With retro console homebrew, you take what you can get. Stuff like Pier Solar is
extremely rare.
It just takes a special kind of dedication to get projects like this off the ground, much less actually finish them. Learning assembly and the ins and outs of the hardware, making sure all your code actually works on the real thing, creating art assets and music, all in your spare time. It just takes a lot of effort, especially compared to something like developing on PC, where you have a lot of helpful tools.
Making a game from scratch by yourself is difficult in general, even moreso when you have to keep specific hardware quirks and limitations in mind.

I understand that. In fact I actually started learning Assembly about a year ago and just finished taking a course on game development with Unity, so I am well aware of the difficulties when it comes to programming and finishing/polishing a project. I'm just saying that I would have much rather them work on the games some more(perhaps another kickstarter to fund the development?) THEN put them on SNES carts, instead of simply dumping the current version of the ROMs. Pier Solar is indeed rare but it is also FAR more fleshed out than any of these games, but then again that probably won't stop the hardcore SNES collectors from paying a lot of money for these carts when/if they sell out.
