It's a shame you don't like racing games. Project Gotham 3 and 4 are both excellent.
Most of the early 360 games (Kameo, GRAW, etc.) have not aged well at all.
I'll be the second to say Earth Defense Force 2017 is great fun, especially if you have a friend to share the experience with.

I never got around to playing that much even though I owned it.
I think in total I got around 2 hours in it. I just remember it being super hard and kinda ugly.

Similar to my general impression of it. If nothing else it definitely felt like a launch title, but not in a good way.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I never got around to playing that much even though I owned it.

On the other hand, I came away from the similar amount of time I put into Kameo feeling like it was still fairly decent - still launch-ey, but well executed at least.

If I were to play racing games, I would be more inclined to play games similar to Burnout 3 or Blur.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:It's a shame you don't like racing games. Project Gotham 3 and 4 are both excellent.

As for EDF 2017, that games looks over the top.

Project Gotham was made by the guys who made Blur, it's quite arcadey and very challenging. There might be a demo on XBLA if you want to try it out.ZereoX wrote:

I just check the Marketplace, there is unfortunately no Demo for PGR, but I'm sure I can find a copy for cheap somewhere. I also just ordered a copy of XBLA Triple Pack (Trials HD, Splosion Man and Limbo) so I got quite a bit to play. I'll get Evolution afterwards as I feel I might not fully enjoy it if I played it before I did HD.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: Project Gotham was made by the guys who made Blur, it's quite arcadey and very challenging. Operation Darkness is a very unique and under-rated SRPG for the 360.
If the idea of combatting Nazi vampires with British SAS werewolves wielding rocket launchers sounds awesome to you (and, let's face it, how could it not sound awesome?), it's definitely worth checking out.
