I have one and it works quite nice. Not the cheapest solution but its hard to argue with the results.

I bought one of those chinese NGC controllers off DX a couple of years ago (no longer available there), and I'm very happy with it. I use it often, and although it's kinda light and cheap feeling, it's responsive and durable. It's not as cool as the Hori controller (I have one of those as well), but it has those analog sticks so it's universably compatible, and IMO the analogs and buttons work great. The price is right, so get one. They also come in gloss-black, and in Wii-mote-port connector type.
Noiseredux made a great article on your different options for Classic-style GC controllers here:
Game Boy Player Land - GameCube Retro Controller Options
I've bought and traded for the Hori GBP, the Hori SGB and a pile of other controllers right here on Racketboy's BST for much less than I've ever seen them available on Ebay, so if you want one of them, search everyone's BST first, then make a WTB thread.

Re: Classic controller for gamecube
i was looking at my classic controller pro and looking at a dual shock 3, and I think you definitely do something to make the classic controller work on a PS2. It might also be possible to put the guts of a PS3 controller and maybe even convert the Classic Controller pro to be a PS3 controller. Maybe even 360 too! That way playing 2D games on 360 wouldnt have to suck donkey dicks

Re: Classic controller for gamecube
Until somebody actually makes a circuit board that converts the CC inputs into GC outputs, this looks nice: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shi ... 45522.html. One review of a similar controller (regular CC-copy) said that after doing a little cleaning of the innards, the controller worked pretty damn well. Are the problems same for this one or it's just utter crap?
