The SNES sucks and you suck for liking it. Nintendo<Sega
Re: I don't find the Super Nintendo interesting. Come beat m
The only thing I would want on it is the Castlevania games and the shmups. The main game I wanted was Dracula X. I really don't have the space or want for another system and Dracula X goes for a lot. So I sold the 50 cent SNES I found.

He's at least interested in the better version of ZAMN and Uniracers, a real hidden SNES gem. Don't be casting stones yet.
(just don't forget the great SNES shmups either)

I can see your point of view. I feel the same way about the Sega Genesis. Even when I owned the system back in the day, I literally had only three games for it: Sonic 2, Aladdin, and Toe Jam & Earl 2. I owned more Sega CD titles than that!
I've considered getting a Genesis to play the handful of games I'd like to try (Rocket Knight Adventures and such), but it just isn't worth the effort to acquire and store the system for 3-4 games.
That said, I bought my Super NES in 1992 strictly to play Super Mario World and Link to the Past.

Better, how? Are you a big advocate of purple blood or something?
I know I'm being a smartass but I'm genuinely curious.

Better graphics. Better sound effects. Proper aspect ratio. Full screen instead of having that large status bar along the right-hand side.

Ah. Well, that explains it. I think I'd rather have red blood though. I specifically sought out my Genesis copy just for that.

I'll do you one better - I have very little interest in either SNES or Genesis. I've gone through both of the systems' libraries and could find only a handful of titles I would want to get. Neither Mario nor Sonic interest me at all. Both companies' first-party games generally leave me cold (Sega's arcade racers are an exception, but that's a whole different department).
Third-party's where it's at. I have a Famicom collection of 59 games. Only one game is by Nintendo, and that's SMB2j. And even that's on a pirate cart because I don't want to get the Disk System.

I used to share this same opinion since I don't play RPGs and being a Genesis guy at heart, though I always admitted to Mega Man X and Super Metroid being two of my favorite games of all time.
I also really love Cybernator and Metal Warriors, which I think are better action titles than some of the popular stuff like Super Castlevania IV and Contra III. Run Saber is also a great Strider clone that in several ways is more fun than Strider is, especially two player co-op, though it's a painfully easy game.
SNES shmups are a mixed bag. There are some greats like Axelay, Space Megaforce and R-Type 3 but there are also loads that suffer from slowdown or are just mediocre. It's not the strongest genre for the SNES.
I also really enjoy both Super Turrican games. As for ZAMN I kind of like the Genesis one better if only for the Neighbor Radar being visible at all times.
