Aren't you too old for video games?
Re: Aren't you too old for video games?
I'm 36 and I still play video games. I just play the games that I grew up on. I'm even thinking about getting back into gameboy. My wife doesn't care. I would rather stay home and play games than to spend money at the bars, drinking, play the lottery, smoke, do drugs, or any of that other crap that people waste money on.

I'd understand the question if this was the 1980s, but a person who asks something like that in 2012 must be pretty damn clueless of modern life.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)

I'm cynic enough to think you are the cluelessMenegrothx wrote:I'd understand the question if this was the 1980s, but a person who asks something like that in 2012 must be pretty damn clueless of modern life.
Nah, but this is very, very widespread and even if things have changed, we are still pretty far from a normal understanding. In the last convention I went they had to ban several TV channels from getting in because they always harassed the community and everyone they could.

If the question is asked in a demeaning tone, I take it personal, and will reply with a personal quip.
If the person is asking with genuine curiosity, usually "no" works for me.

I don't think I've ever had anyone ask me if I was too old for gaming, but I've had dumbshits criticize me for "wasting my time".

The medium of gaming has certainly came a long way, but still has quite a bit to go of course. Since I am in my mid teens, I never got asked that question. However, if there is something you like doing and it's not a threat to anyone and can be done even in advanced age, I would say to pursue it to the fullest extent that makes you happy and still lets you live a balanced life. I sometimes get crap for collecting, but some games hold their value pretty well, and at least I'm not spending my money on drugs or something.

Well I'll be 41 in August so I guess it depends if you still like to play video games.
My Dad is in his late 60's and he loves to play video games! Me & my brother got him into them back in the early 90's... after nes before playstation.
He is a Sega fan infact Dreamcast is his fav Sega system.
I really think there is no age limit for porn
I mean video games
