You cannot make official ones. They have a proprietary IO board that interfaces with the PC for the controls and to route the displays. I talked to the guys that run Mechcorps at Dcon the last two years and they showed me all around them, they are brilliantly built. Because those IO boards, and the monitors, are very hard to find for sale, I am tempted to build my own.

How I would do it is a full HOTAS+rudders setup, a couple hacked up controllers for other controls. Displaywise, I was going to use a 27 or 32 inch lcd tv for the primary display. Sadly in MW4 there is no way to put HUD elements on other monitors, but you can disable them on the primary display. You can also have another PC setup as a spectator and in a follow camera angle/backup camera. Weapon indicators would have to be a manual process - ie rig up a light above each button for the weapon sets. As for a radar, there is apparently some way you can display it off of a dedicated server - I havent figured that one out yet. A buddy of mine who is heavy in the BT universe told me to wait for the upcoming titles before I do anything, which is the main reason I havent started building them yet - though I have a couple hundred designs floating around on my desks.

My girl has already told me that once we get a house the first thing she wants to install is four mech cabs.

And probably a pinball or two.

Shame that Qix is so rare though. I probably won't see an original cab for a long time, if ever.
Why is it I think I saw a Qix in good shape on KLOV 2 weeks ago. Didn't even know it was that rare.

They were probably gutted and/or converted.

A third for Robotron here. I'd also want a Galaga and Cruisn' World cab (the latter for me and my gf to play together - the N64 game isn't quite the same).

Marry this girl right now. If you already did, marry her again.

When I save up the money I plan to get a Pump cab. I've already got a Gauntlet Legends and an X-Men vs. Street Fighter, so Pump would round out things and take up the last of the space in my basement. I would have gotten it this December but I spent the money on the NWC cart instead.

Was Soul Calibur released for arcade? I'd assume it was a NAOMI release if so. I know that Soul Edge was, as I've played it. (I would not suggest getting Soul Edge.)

I know shit about pinball, in fact I look down on them but "The Machine: Bride of Pinbot" has sexy robot voice. Nothing else magical or rare...just slutty cyborg chick talking to me. I know Lost Ark in Greensboro picked up a fix-r-upper recently so I'm hoping I can get some games on her as soon as it gets repaired.
