Do you know about any of the Gundam games on PSP?

Yes. Most of them are playable, but you might have a hard time navigating menus. Wondering about any of them in particular? Another Century's Episode is an especially English friendly one (not Gundam-only, but a lot of Gundam to be had).

Yeah, I had Gundam battle Royale and Gundam vs Gundam NEXT PLUS as the 2 that I may purchase.

Don't forget racing games. You don't need to know Japanese for the majority of them unless you actually care about the story in games like Wangan Midnight and Initial D. If you're a car guy, knowing chassis codes might be helpful as some racing games don't have rights to display car names, so they use chassis codes instead.

Gundam Battle Royale has a lot of English text and menus, so if you're want to play the game enough to skim through an FAQ occasionally when you're confused by something you'd be fine. Gundam VS is an arcade brawler so you're good there as well.

Can't think of anything that meets your requirements myself. All of the worthwhile JPN-only MD games I can think of that aren't RPGs will cost you at least $50.

The main import Genesis game that people I know have is Yu Yu Hakusho: Makyo Toitsusen. Which always goes for 90+. But it is Guardian Heroes in the Yu Yu Universe and is an excellent four player fighter.

That and they buy games that are really expensive to get domestically, like Musha.
