I can see the whole basement jukebox type thing running. Have some tunes playing while you work on stuff downstairs.

@Hatta - Yeah, I'll probably paint it in the future, but it's onto other projects. A MAME set-up would actually be a pretty cool idea, but I dunno if I could pull it off with the set-up/equipment I have. Might be worth a shot later!

@dsheinem - Yeah, the speakers didn't come out quite the way I was hoping. Though you can't tell from the pics, but the left speaker is actually hot glued in place because I overcut the Styrene due to alchol ingestion.... :? I tend to get caught up in modding so much that one drink turns into 3 faster than I realize...I get this great boost of creativity in my mind for a bit...but the motor functions start to eat that creativity up pretty quick. haha :mrgreen: As for the wall's paint...yeah it sucks...workin on it!

@fvgazi - Bingo! And it's helped already!

@Majors - We've got a network drive at my house which our iTunes is connected to, so yeah, I can and do access my music and it's much better than brining my iPod down and hooking up an external speaker to it.

Again guys thanks!

So ugly its cool
That is a beautiful shelf, great with the rough look! This reminds me when my Dad made me a 6 tier shelf when I was a kid. He took precut scrap squares of plywood and used not kidding, firewood thick branches for the braces. I really miss that solid shelf, the grunge look about it.

Humm...maybe I'll paint the wall a dark machine gray and then put all sorts of flashy painted lights and title it "Space Balls: The PC View Window". Hummm...This might be getting a revision!

Thats a very cool way to store a computer. What do you sit on when you use it? It seems like you would have to look up to view the monitor.

@ChooChooBot - It wasn't designed to be sitting down when using it, it's just a stand up and find what you need then sit back down kinda deal. Mostly it's being used for my iTunes while I'm working, but when I need to do a bit of research or check forum posts, it works great! I've got so many projects I want to start now that getting back to this one is going to take some time as from a functionality stand point, it's working wonderfully. But I'll keep this as a proof of concept deal for now and then spruce it up later.
