As the others have said, you are off to a great start, and have some great and rare games like Yakuza 2, and Ico. For beat em ups i recommend God Hand, Crimson Tears, and EOE: Eve of Extinction, and The Bouncer. Hack and slashes that you might like are the Way of the Samurai series, the Onimusha series, and the Buldur's Gate series (a hack n slash/rpg.) For platformers/adventure games, you should look intno Klonoa 2, Stretch Panic, Psychonauts, and I-ninja. If I think of any more, I'll let you know :D

Thanks everyone for all the thoughtful comments and suggestions! I will be updating this thread whenever I have the funds for more games. But untill then...

What are the SHMUPs on the PS2 that are worth playing?

No reason, just easier to track down

Do you ever get any strange memory card errors with Soul Calibur 3? I know there is greatest hits, i'm not sure if it persists in that as well. I keep holding back.

I never had any memory card errors that I can recall.

I did. It corrupted my Chronicles of the Sword save, or whatever that alternate game mode was called. Everything else worked, but that didn't. It really pissed me off too, as I was more interested in that than the rest of the game.

okay if I find the GH version then I'm buying it for cheap. I do own SC2 and SC4. I got to play Soul blade just for kicks. Thanks for the info.
