lol, well said. The game still looks and runs great too, just like Unreal and some of the other early 2000's FPS's.
It only looks any good if you install the graphics update included in Blue Shift, which brings it up to what the DC version was supposed to look like, I believe.

I think the other factor may be the fact thats its not really got any progression through it.

You have to run back and forth a lot.

I HATE games like that. HL2 etc you have progression. You go from here to there, not here to there then back again after doing this or that.

It looks better on the Source port. And it supports triple screen =D

Maybe if Episode 3 ever gets released we can get some kind of Orange Box 2 on consoles with the original Half Life

I mean, if we can get a console port of American McGee's Alice ten years after its release anything is possible

I'm sure a market for such a release of the original exists, at least in small part.

I can say with confidence that if they released the original Half-Life on say, XBLA, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

If Racket and I are both interested, there's gotta be others who would be too.
