Walmart used to sell them up here for $30, and it's by far the best AV switcher i've ever owned.

Real gamers have a CRT for every system

All joking aside, I rock the dual switch boxes myself. One for composite and one for S-vid...my HD TV has enough inputs that I do not need a HDMI/component switch box.

Sidenote, if you use a reciever in your setup, that can usally work as a switch box too.

Then real gamers have real big houses.

I use one of these component switchers by Pelican and two of these svideo switchers by Magnavox plus a VCR.

I haven't used the magnavox switchers for video. I am using one of them for audio only right now and it works fine. The Pelican HD system selector works fine with my Wii and the DVD player.

In the past I had a different setup and used a pelican 4 input composite switcher. It took to dropping out the right side of the audio.

I use 2 Phillips PH61150 chained together. The local liquidator has or had them for $20 each. Along with a 5 to one scart switch going to a scart-component transcoder I have 12 consoles connected the best way they can be to my TV. The automatic switching is really convenient and I don't notice any signal noise even with the crazy amount of wires or the chained scart going through all the switches. I have had bad experiences with non-powered ones, both expensive and cheap.
