AFAIK, no 360 model clamps down the disc enough to really protect well against scratching it if the machine is jolted while in use. Obviously, this isn't something you'd want to be doing in the first place, but people have complained about it.
Also, the newest 360 variant that matches the One aesthetic ('E', Super Slim, whatever you want to call it) drops the older A/V multi-out. It's got a 1/8" size one that will do composite, and of course an HDMI port. If you want/need to use component video, or a mixed setup with HDMI video and optical audio or something, you'd want to avoid that one.
