Never had an interest in these type of add-ons, but it has 4megs of extra backup memory. I haven't gotten it to work yet ... I'm a little worried something might be wrong with the cart slot.

Wedge a q-tip in between the back of the cartridge and the top of the slot. It should put the card forward enough to make the connection. Works for me almost every time.

Thanks, I'll be sure to try it out. On another note, you guys should read this. Well, maybe not -- it might just upset you.

I think the guy didn't do much research. Most of the problems he listed were the result of corporate bungling at SoA, not any fault of the Saturn or its developers.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Hefty women can be sexy without being fat. The Saturn is a fine example.

After all, can anyone actually name 30 great games they played on the console?

Guardian Heroes
Layer Section
Radiant Silvergun
Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter
Saturn Bomberman
Waku Waku 7
DonPachi
Detana Twinbee Yahoo! Deluxe Pack
NiGHTS into Dreams
Christmas NiGHTS
Road to the Final Victory 3
Panzer Dragoon
Fighters Megamix
Baku Baku
Burning Rangers
Virtual On
Vampire Hunter
X-Men Shildren of the Atom
Darkstalkers
Cyberbots
Die Hard Arcade
House of the Dead
Virtua Cop
Virtua Cop 2
Gex
Deep Fear
Rayman
Astal
Mr. Bones
Three Dirty Dwarves
Robo Pit
Rockman X3
Pocket Fighter
Puzzle Bobble 2X
Clockwork Knight 2
Pandemonium

Oh, I'm sorry. Did I just go over 30?

I can add to that. I have around 70 and there are still some that I'm missing.

I mentioned the Genesis being quite the looker in another thread as well. It reminds me of KITT of Knight Rider fame.

I actually havn't played most of the games I listed, although my Saturn wish list definitely has more than 30. Probly around 50-70. I think I actually own like, 15.

It has karaoke functions in addition to built in MPEG video support. It even has a GPS navigation system and can plug into your car's cigarette lighter. I'm not kidding.

Simple? Elegant? Durable? What the hell are you guys all smoking? That bulky XBOX Jr.?
I have FOUR on-hand because two need to be cobbled together (one has a dead cart slot, the other a faulty laser motor).

Breetai's the only one that gets points for picking out a sexy SS model. You want a simple and elegant, look at a Treamcast (except the jumbo-screen version) or Dreamtrooper.

Personally don't like optical-media-based systems though; I'd much rather back a GBSP, NGPC, or WSC.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
