I was advised to do the same after I was worried about sending out my first trade with a bum label.
People appreciate the heads up and I have even got tips because of me PMing every trade. Though I did have one dude cancel because I wanted a perfect copy... but I traded the game to someone else within a week.

Goozex only cares if the game plays, so as long as you communicate well all should work out. I had a guy swear a 100 point NES game I sent didnt work, but it did for me. So we worked things out all because I PMed him before I sent the game.

I love Goozex, and hope that both of you give the site another chance.

What I would do, I would load that into Photoshop and make sure it's the EXACT size you want it then print it to an adhesive backed paper. I use to use Avery labels which looked alright. Lately I've been printing on adhesive backed photo paper with a low gloss which looks really nice.

Anyway, get some regular Goo Gone and clean the entire label off the cart. Make sure you get it all, and then make sure you thoroughly clean the Goo Gone off the cart (might want to use soap and water). It wouldn't hurt to clean the label area a little with some rubbing alcohol. You want the surface to be perfect before you put the new label on, since you want it to adhere forever.
Thanks! I've used cover project for GC and other artwork, but never even thought of a cart label, thanks a million!

First of all here is an image of the game as I sent it.

Yes there is a tear in the label, nowhere near 15-20% and also no goo. This was my first trade on goozex as well but I read the FAQ before sending to see what was expected of me. I shipped the game the day after I accepted the trade and mjmjr25 likely had it within five days of accepting the trade. The problem is that he left my feedback as I sent the wrong game, which is supposed to be reserved for people who send the wrong game bootlegs or don't send anything. He should have used the +5 feedback which exactly describes the situation he was in, he got the game but it was not in the condition he had hoped.

I also want to defend myself a bit in that mjmjr25 said I was rude. My exact comment upon receiving negative feedback that basically would have given him the game for free if I did not contest it was, "The game I shipped was the game requested. I purchased the game used and there was a small tear in the upper right hand corner, something I had no control over. The game itself is in perfectly playable condition. For a disc only trade I feel it is in perfectly reasonable condition.

My first experience with goozex was not flawless, in the future I think I will pm the buyer an image of the game if there is anything questionable about the condition. A photo of the underside and the back would have explained the case better, but clearly the label is torn. Worms is worth $50 because of rarity and rarity only, not gameplay. I can get the same game on other consoles for $3-5. Any gamer knows this. People who want worms N64 want it for collecting purposes. Same as say Mega Man X3 or the like for SNES. They are hard to find, but can be found for the actual gameplay for quite cheaper.

Perhaps "rude" was a poor choice of words. However, the right thing to do would have been to offer to cancel the trade. You only traded the game in on goozex as you WOULDN'T have to show the photo, and would still get the full 1,000 pts. And while you weren't "rude", you went to to the, "i'll find the part in the rules section that best defends me, umm, here it is, blah blah the game must play only." It was a puss way out, you took it, so the math adds itself.

I think the issue is that your view of Goozex is from a collector's perspective rather than from someone who just wants to play a game. It seems to be designed to facilitate people playing games and then moving on to the next one. The bonus is that you save on rental fees and buying a game that you have no intention of keeping.

Perhaps, but a single deal costs $3 to ship plus $1 per token/trade, so renting would still be easier, I just think that if your going to get the the equivalent of $50, you wouldn't send that game, or you out of courtesy message the buyer that the game is in that condition.
