Re: 3DS graphic capabilities revealed
I'm fine with it. If it works, and still keeps the main concept of being 3D, who cares? I also really don't want to pay over 300 dollars for a handheld that has a high possibility of being broke.

Re: 3DS graphic capabilities revealed
I wonder if some developers will make non-3D 3DS games; if so, that could make some amazing graphics. Remember, to achieve 3D, the processor has to create the same image twice; one for each eye. The 3DS is already very powerful with 3D games, but imagine the graphics possible with non-3D games.
Re: 3DS graphic capabilities revealed
I was discussing this with a friend. It's a valid point. I can't wait to get my hands on the system, I just want to know if the 3D will work for me. Those glasses they have at cinemas make me feel sick, so I hope this isn't as intrusive. Either way, the fact that I can turn it on and off at will makes a ton of difference. Since I could turn it off for gameplay and just have it on for cutscenes or whatever I find comfortable. The analogue slider is a master stroke.lisalover1 wrote:I wonder if some developers will make non-3D 3DS games; if so, that could make some amazing graphics. Re: 3DS graphic capabilities revealed
Based on all the first impressions I saw from E3 reporters you should have no problems. I saw numerous reports that boiled down to "3D glasses make me sick, but this is completely natural". I'm sure Nintendo will have them on hand for PAX, so I'll be sure to try it out myself. I'm not a fan of glasses-based 3D anyway, since I already wear corrective lenses.Niode wrote:I was discussing this with a friend. It's a valid point. We won't have a chance to try them at all in this country until they come out. I don't think there is any conferences in the run up to release (speculating here) in November. I doubt that Eurogamer Expo will have them.MrPopo wrote:Based on all the first impressions I saw from E3 reporters you should have no problems. Sounds like Niode's gotta come in for PAX.Niode wrote:We won't have a chance to try them at all in this country until they come out. I don't think there is any conferences in the run up to release (speculating here) in November. I doubt that Eurogamer Expo will have them.

The 3DS is going to be released March next year. I do recommend putting it on the backburner because eagerly waiting its retail date may prove unhealthy

Guarenteed to be released by end of March, which I believe is the end of Nintendo's fiscal year. There's a good chance it'll come out earlier.Pulsar_t wrote:The 3DS is going to be released March next year. Re: 3DS graphic capabilities revealed
Is that Japan or all regions? I would be surprised if it was releasing that late in Japan. I would have thought they would have hit Q3 maybe Q4 at the latest in Japan.Pulsar_t wrote:The 3DS is going to be released March next year.
