Wow, I had two threads open at once (in different tabs) and accidentally posted here...

Re: 3DS games in development list.
I can't remember exactly where it was said, but I do remember it being mentioned that it'll be backwards compatible with current DS games. I would be extremely surprised if it didn't support DS games, seeing as it looks so damn similar to a DS.
I must say though, I've never had a bigger urge to spend money in my life. I have no idea how much this thing'll cost, or when it'll come out, but goddamn dude day 1 purchase. Star Fox 64 in my pocket??? Sweet zombie jesus!

Re: 3DS games in development list.
I'm very excited for 3DS lots of great developer support both from first and third parties. The game diversity is great and Metal Gear Solid is amazing. I will be buying Nintendo 3DS on launch and I hope it comes in black and red as shown on E3 floor. Now waiting to pre-order

Yep, it is backward compatible with DS/DSi titles:J T wrote:Does anybody know if the 3DS will be backwards compatible with other DS games? I've never owned a handheld device, and I might be interested in getting this one if it would allow me to play older games too.

Re: 3DS games in development list.
Screen shots of a lot of the games are up on http://e3.nintendo.com/3ds/
Super Street Fighter 4 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory look like they could be really cool.
Not sure about Steel Diver yet, but it is Nintendo, so it could be cool.

Well, if you're going to play Steel Diver properly you need to sound the horn and shout out "dive dive" before you actually dive.
