Yeah, I'm one of those people, though all I'd do is switch it with RE2. RE3 I thought was ok, but Code Veronica just didn't appeal to me. I've beaten the first two numerous times, beaten the third a couple, and beaten CV once, and I just don't desire to play it again.

Well, I have to admit that I also only played CV once and the others had multiple plays so maybe I need to switch RE3 and CV around on my list.

I suppose it's worth a single playthrough then. I don't think I ever replayed a Resi game.

For those curious about the minute details of my life (hey, there should be a thread for that!), I ended up going with Resident Evil 3. Thanks for all the input! So far I'm enjoying it verily. These games are pretty hard the first time through (haven't had that feeling in like twelve years).

Oh, and it turned out Dino Crisis 2 isn't even on the store, so my mistake.

Finished the first half of RECV.. GAH!!! The incessent backtracking, the squeaky doors, the terrible voice acting.. I'm debating whether I should bother with the second half at all!

Edit - Well the stupid moths did it for me. Stupid design is stupid design. This was a Dreamcast game so no excuses for their PS1 mentality.

CV was released on the PS2, not the PS1.

And? It was a Dreamcast game also. But it's the same game as RE1/2/3, with a 3D engine ala Dino Crisis. I really can't go back to this type of game after Dead Space and RE4.
