You got the right one, though you will need one more for link games. PSOne lost the serial and parallel ports.

If you have the older PSX with the Parallel Port you can add all the various cheat carts.

Also Gameboy EMU
and movie player carts.

Oop. Well at least its still Link game compatible.
Get a second one and play Assault Rigs!
Oh just go solo get that cool game!
