Wii Chiiped ... (that didn't take long lol)

We stay sold out of Wii and DS where I work, the demand for a DS is much higher however.

Well I saw this post yesterday and FINALLY!!!!!! got my hands on a freakin Wii. The machine itself is awesome, I bought it with rayman (kinda freaky for kids) and the one it comes with the sports one. The part that I dont like is the internet is slow like hell. I got a 360 and my conection is 2mb one and the 360 just browse as fast as my pc and i got it conected wireless also. I got a linksys router wireless g and the router is basically besides the systems. But the hell with that im gona go get a freakin modchip of those and try it out.

I'm holding back on the whole modchip thing for the mo'. I'd love it if they can get it to play imports too. Maybe they won't but I'm gonna give them a month or two and keep an eye on how things go.

If nintendo had been smart and done $1 8-bit, $2 16-bit and $3 64 Bit, I'd have been getting a massive collection of legit titles by now. As it is... $5 for Urban Champion on NES I think they kind of deserve this.
Itunes sells a song for $1, I gaurantee that any major record label song cost 100 times as much to record and market as Urban Champion ever cost Nintendo to develop.
and you could get urban champions for the original nes for less than 5$ :P

Can't play homebrew or imports? Guess I'll have to wait awhile longer.

Today? I really can't understand how it's difficult to find a Wii. Kids all over my hick town have them, and all we have is a walmart for games. Nothing else. Wii's should be in supply everywhere....
The only way people are able to get them is if they camp stores an hour or more before they stock them. It's still that bad in most places.

Another Wii-chip reviewed. Wiinja. GC and Wii backups confirmed working. No region support. Minor homebrew support. Super small chip, like the PS1 chips, only 5 wires to solder.

I don't think this mod chip has been mentioned in the thread:
