Light Gun Games Gunblade and LA Machineguns coming to Wii

Yeah, didn't someone from Sega once say that if House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, and House of the Dead Overkill sold well that they'd bring HotD4 to the Wii?

How well does the Wii handle light gun games? I have not had a chance to try it out myself. Is the Wiimote a decent substitute for a light gun?

I have considered buying a Wii just for the lightgun games.

My daughter's Wii remote does have great response. On the menu screen, the cursor has instant movement keeping up with the Wiimote. Works on any screen since the remote reads the lightbar. Have no light gun games, I should surprise her with House of Dead.

FYI all, this is starting to hit around $15 online. I picked it up a while back from Amazon for $16 (still the current price) and finally got around to playing the games tonight. They are pretty much arcade perfect ports from what I can remember, and maybe my favorite thing Sega has released on the Wii (with the possible exception of HOTD Overkill). Yes, they are easy and cheesy - but they probably deliver some of the most pure fun that you can have in a light gun shooter. I can't imagine they published a ton of these, so get them while you can!

light gun games tend to be the only non-GCN games I actually play on my Netlfi--- I mean Wii.

Walmart has House of the Dead 2 and 3 NEW for just under twenty bucks, no additional shipping cost for a local pickup. But only less then a buck to ship directly to your house.

I may still get the Gunblade/LA Machineguns Pack later on though, thanks for the info.
