an interesting thing about the famicom disk drive is that some games had different sounds from their cartridge counterparts. the only comparison i've made myself is legend of zelda - quite a few sounds were COMPLETELY different on the disk version! listen to a few yourself and see:

the extra sound channel on the hardware makes a world of difference

Neat. Some I like better, some I'm so used to the cart versions I like them better.
