Good job on beating it. I also thought it got pretty hard towards the end. I agree that 3's the best, followed by 1, then 4, then 2.
I prefer Dante over Nero, but something about Dante in 4 felt a little underwhelming, like his styles weren't fully fledged out. I could feel that Swordmaster was their main focus, and Gunslinger, my favorite style, wasn't as good as it could've been.

Ok updates...
I started to play this game and because everyone is saying its too difficult I chose the easy difficulty, I guessed the touch one was for the hardcore people.
I find it pretty easy up until now I am on mission four, the controls are awkward. I am trying to do the down slash, and the sword upper cut but its a hit or miss as it seems.
button combos are hard to figure and master.

Press Y, then Y then tap Y(what is that , just say hit Y 3 times)
and the gauge, I have no idea how to use it. Sometimes out of chaos it would do the gauge attack.
I am not sure why they have the Automatic options. That will be like, just press Y until the fight is over. I am not sure if the gun gets better, but it hardly hurts enemies. Why shall I shoot them for 15 seconds when I can kill them with the sword in 5?
I am at the cathedral *spoiler* and I just killed the big white frog. I went to the torture hallway , or whatever its called. Its where there are like 10 blue orbs you have to use your grabber to catch them and jump around but I can't do it. I keep hitting the spikes in the sealing and falling dow. The first time I did it on the first try, I am not sure whats wrong now. How can I finish this part?
