Xavier: Renegade Angel is a pretty cool animation cgi show. Its not really anime though. It really makes you think though, so a lot of people actually hate it.

I'm a thought-o-coster, I'm the conundrummer in the band called Life-Puzzler.

Sounds like you like quite smart, cerebral anime. If you can stand the initial slow pace, Gasaraki has a lot to offer. It's kind of quiet, but I hear a lot of people complain that it drags. It has mechs, though, and I liked it a lot. Blue Submarine No. 6 seems to have passed under a lot of people's scopes too.

I've watched:

Berserk
Cowboy Bebop
Death Note
Elfen Lied
Ergo Proxy
FLCL
FMA
Hellsing
Monster
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Rurouni Kenshin
Samurai Champloo
Serial Experiments Lain
Trigun
Yu-Yu Hakasho

I like all of these. Monster would have to be my favorite. I highly recommend it.

(-_-) wrote:I started watching Full Metal Alchemist. I'm only in the beginning but it's fairly disturbing and in complete contrast to the art style. The story is incredibly dark and I think it's currently being remade to be more faithful to the comic book. I introduced it to a friend who has never watched any anime since dragonball. He saw the first few episodes and was amazed by the maturity of the themes and ended up watching the entire series in less than week.
Start watching full metal alchemist brotherhood everyone should be watching this its absolutely amazing get on it

MUSHISHI (my favorite anime! I HIGHLY recomend this to everyone that wants to know what good anime is. even more thought provoking than kino's journey so lisalover1 i HIGHLY recommend this to you as well.)
More than once I've heard these two shows mentioned in the same sentence. Thanks, I'll try Mushishi out soon. [On a side note, I've also been meaning to watch Dennou Coil for some time now.]

The last anime I watched was Serial Experiments Lain. I thought Eva was a mindtrip! Lain was one of the most surreal shows I've seen outside of FLCL, though that was a completely different kind of Surreal.
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

FLCL and Dead Leaves are probably in my top favourite animes, stylistically. Pretty, crazy, fun stuff visually.
