Yes, a lot of people on gaming/modding forums are kids who believe they can act without decency and responsibly, like they are in a playground (to quote them) "it's the internetz".

In fact, I would go as far as saying such sites now have often become taken over by such people, including a once very respected modding site (sorry Ben, but it's true), and have become like "Lord of the flies" (if anyone knows that book, if not link ), where kids are left to make their own rules and society...

RacketBoy, Atariage, Assembler and also DigitalPress are decent forum sites with decent, and older, members - in sharp contrast. Far better.

We have quite a few younger members here that are fine upstanding citizens and restore some of my faith in humanity. :)

Yes, some of the younger members here are quite respectable. I never even realized many of them were younger until they said something that dated them like "I played so much Dragon Quest VIII in middle school."
