Re: to buy or not to buy...
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. This guy assures me everything is mint, but my definition of mint is usually several degrees higher than most.
I'll throw out the $30 counter.
racketboy forum is great!

Well the reason I say 30 is, if he is lying, like I assume he is...atleast you gave him a counteroffer that is 15$ LESS than was his bullshit was/is...that way atleast you may still come out ahead. But again...seriously...who the hell sees something for 20$ and goes...I WILL GIVE YOU 45$!!!...let me tell you how many times I have done that...s1mplehumar wrote:Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Sorry, that was vague. I'll submit the $30 offer to him if "she" falls through.lost_within wrote:Well the reason I say 30 is, if he is lying, like I assume he is...atleast you gave him a counteroffer that is 15$ LESS than was his bullshit was/is...that way atleast you may still come out ahead. For $30 that is a decent deal. For $45 thats silly. I mean you cant even play the 32x game and three of the titles are sports games.

His response to my $30 offer...
no problem, i understand. i'm just trying to make as much as i can. it'd be stupid for me to pass up more money. appreciate the email. i'll keep you in mind.
Forget that we had a freaking agreement.

Meh... I would just look for a Genesis for cheap, and then pick and choose which games you want. It may end up cheaper and you could get better games.s1mplehumar wrote:His response to my $30 offer...

Translation:
Damn I was hoping you were going to be dumb enough to take me on it. Ok well, let me see if some other chump will just buy it for 45$ and after a month of nothing I will message you back.
I would say try to ebay one. I think I spent 60$ on my bundle that was "broken" got a boxed 32x that would play sound but no video...well, it was missing the cables so fixed that. 3 segas 1 didnt work, bunch of games, bunch of controllers. Check out some of the "repair" auctions, sometimes its as simple as needing to be cleaned. Also dont forget yardsales, nintendos are harder to find...now...not like a few years ago, but I will be damned If I dont run across 10 segas everytime.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.
