If that is true, then

you sir, are a moron.

Seriously though, anyone who even considers paying $1200 for that is really a moron. Hell, paying $100 for that is foolish.

I dont consider it insane if your a true collector on the hardcore level, just for that fact that it is an offical "judged" sealed game with a really good rating. Ive seen more common games than that top 5k just due to a rating of 100.

true, you dont see to many graded ones, plus the hard casing it has around it would protect it, later down the road it could be worth double that.

I'd collect sealed games if I could afford it. No matter how well I take care of my games there are always a few scuffs or marks that pop up over time and I hate that. Frankly, I hate optical media in general. They're flimsy, easy to scratch or get dirty and I hate how load times have just become accepted in modern gaming. But optical media is the only thing with the storage space for today's highly complex games.

Collecting sealed items is common in all hobbies, but for some reason gamers who do it get made fun of. Go figure. Were I a wealthy gamer, I'd buy two copies of every game. One to play, one to keep sealed but I haven't got the means so whatever I buy gets played.

I have a brand new copy of Valkyria Chronicles I fully intend to play, but I haven't opened it just yet. It's nice to see it sealed in pristine condition, but I'll be cracking it open soon enough

Big warning to this grading thing, it was huge in sportscards then dropped out to normal prices. There are a few rarities around but I bet my local game store has ten copies alone that would socre this high for 30 bucks. My daughter just got one and even though it is open it is super nice. They had a greatest hits sealed for 45 but she preferred the black. They also had nine sealed for 15.

My point is that I see our hobby building up right now but it will hit that ceiling and the bottom will drop out at some point. I just saw a copy of wave race 64 go for 7.50???? It is getting a little out of handle on the bay. Everyone thinks they have a million dollar item.

A fool and his money are soon parted.......

I always see idiots like this charging crazy prices for rare games and systems. And you know what, they never sell. People are for the most part are retarded, not stupid. I just don't get it, I always see idiots listing games for twice as much as everyone else. Do they really think it will sell?

Isn't this just
Final Fantasy
If I knew my copy was worth that I wouldn't have sold it for $6 at a garage sale!
