There a lot of strange sexual innuendo in the Ar Tonelico series:

I've wanted Koudelka for a while now which is also a weird RPG. However I refuse to pay over $40.00 for it.Alpinex2 wrote:I wish PS1 RPGS were not so expense... There are so many i want.

Opoona on Wii reminds me a ton of EarthBound's quirkiness and style.
And I've heard that Chulips on PS2 is amazing as well.

Resident Evil Gaiden comes into my mind ... It's a Resident Evil RPG for the Gameboy Color.

This made my day. I remember playing this and shaking my head in shame at how embarrassing some of the references were. Everytime you dove into one of the girls dreams there was some kind of sexual innuendo in the dialogue.J T wrote:There a lot of strange sexual innuendo in the Ar Tonelico series:

The first one was pretty damn weird too, and I liked it. I don't how much of the game's weirdness was intentional and how much was due to so so localizationcorn619 wrote:Shadow Hearts From The New World for PS2 is pretty weird. In one part of the story, you rescue Al Capone with a Indian, Fat Cat, a American Ninja named Frank with a cactus sword and a girl that must strip down to her under things to reveal her true power. Strange indeed but a great game none the less.
Sine the TC mentioned Harvest Moon, Viva Pinata has a leveling structure in place, as well as items and upgrades that only become available after you play it for a while. And there's a lot of grinding for money in those games too
EDIT: Oh, and you want weird, there's also the Patapon games

Wasn't there a Cho Aniki game on the Gameboy that was an RPG?
EDIT: Oh wait, that was on the Wonderswan.

I'm playing through the first Shadow Hearts now and.....yeah its pretty weird. I love that it has a dark edge to it and the characters are great as well.Gamerforlife wrote:The first one was pretty damn weird too, and I liked it.
