Re: Missed Opportunities
I keep trying to find a copy of Disgaea 3 at Gamespot, but on the off-chance that I do, I just can't justify paying $35 for it.

OK, now I'm pissed about the Samurai Shodown situation, anyone want me to locate them a copy? I know I'm going to try to find myself one.

Re: Missed Opportunities
only 2 come to mind.
200 dollar 4 slot dedicated neo geo cab came with 4 metal slug games and a few fighters. Passed on it because i didn't have the space. I should've found the space. I was worried that if I put it in my basement it would rot.
100 dollar 15 foot skeball game. Real deal, no plastic. Passed on it becuase i really didn't have the space. Truth is though- i could've set it up in my basement if I took an hour to just clear out some of the boxes.
REGRETS!

Re: Missed Opportunities
Why clean out a space for a $100 skeeball game when you could put down some newspapers and have AN IMPROMPTU YOGA CENTER
Re: Missed Opportunities
When going to a Goodwill style store down here, I decided I would just take out money after I found something (If I found something) because I was too lazy to go to the ATM. While there I found a boxed Super Famicom, complete for $30, went to the ATM, got back and it was gone. I had asked the guy to hold it but the cock sucker sold it anyhow.

This is why I always carry my Debit/ATM/Check card on me alongside cash.

Why didn't you just pay for it with your debit card?emwearz wrote:When going to a Goodwill style store down here, I decided I would just take out money after I found something (If I found something) because I was too lazy to go to the ATM. When compusa was going out of bussniess they were selling xbox kiosks for $250 bucks at the time wasn't trying to collect something so big. When I was 17 they were getting rid of earth bound with guide big box Ed. For like 20 bucks at sears.
Re: Missed Opportunities
Back in 1996 or 1995 (can't remember exact date) I had a chance to get Mega Man X2 from a closing rental store for cheap but my parents wouldn't let me...I didn't see the game in a store again until 2002 when I got it for 30 bucks at a Gamestop.
Now that I've gotten into collecting I regret not getting any of the Sega stuff when it was getting flushed out at bargain bin prices.
I've also had countless times where I'll see a game a bunch of times and not want it...then later when I do want it I have to scour the city to find it.
