To the guy who said I should get all of them, I probably will eventually, but I've blown a ton of money on the aforementioned carts and didn't want to spend a whole lot more, so another $60 on the aforementioned games didn't seem reasonable. Mega Man X is probably the best choice because it's the cheapest, but I really like Super Castlevania IV from what I've played of it (God, that music kicks ass!). The only Mega Man games I've ever played were 8 and X4, and I was only moderately impressed by them. I keep hearing that Mega Man X is arguably (and it's argued alot) the best game in the series, which is more than I can say for the ones that I've played. But then if I got Mega Man X and Super Castlevania IV I know that I'd just say, "Well, I've already got nearly every game I wanna get for the system, I might as well go ahead and get the rest" and then spend money I shouldn't be spending. Damn my lack of self-control.
$60!?!?!?! Holy crap! I think I paid about $6 for all four...

Well, ummm... I'd go with Mega Man X first, then Castlevania IV next. Probably Actraiser third followed by Contra III.

I totally lack self control when it comes to games. Last year, I had about 100 games total on the NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, GBA, DS, PS3 and Wii. A pretty decent collection. Now, just a year later, it's going on 600 games and all the consoles you see in my sig. I really need to join AA for retro gamers...

Seriously though... $60 for those games? I know I live in Japan and get cheap things here, but I used to find some really nice deals at yard sales, weekend markets, etc. Unless you're in a hurry, you could probably find these games for a lot cheaper.

As for Mega Man, I actually prefer X1-3 more than X4. I'm not sure why, but X4 didn't really do it for me. As for X1, X2 and X3... I really don't know which one I like better. They're all awesome.

Mega Man X = $10 with shipping
ActRaiser = $15 with shipping
Super Castlevania IV = $15 with shipping
Contra III = $20 with shipping

So yeah, $60. Prospecting is a bitch here in the States.

Anyway, thanks alot you guys! I'm going with Mega Man X and Super Castlevania IV. I'm stopping there for a good while. I'm very happy with my Super Nintendo collection now! I may come back and get ActRaiser and Contra III in the future, but I think that this'll definitely do.

Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country
F-Zero
Final Fantasy III
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Mega Man X
Secret of Mana
Starfox
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario All-Stars
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Super Metroid
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV

Seems like a damn complete collection for a Sega fanboy, I'd say!

Yeah, it's a pretty good collection. I'm a bit of a Sega fanboy myself.

Now get to those yard sales and markets!!!

Man, I've tried the yard sales and flea markets here. It's sports games on the Genesis and Nintendo 64 and NOTHING. ELSE. There are a couple of great video game stores around town with fair prices on video games, but they tend to be a couple dollars more than most of the games I could get online.

Haha. Sad, isn't it?

I don't mind so much. I have really good self-control up until I start buying. It's literally been months since I went on a buying spree of any sort, and this one's over with around $130, and I used a fraction of my graduation money to do it, so it's not like I ruined myself or anything. It would've been nice to have gotten some cheaper prices, but I mean, with timeless classics like Chrono Trigger ($35), Final Fantasy III ($25), Secret of Mana ($20), Super Metroid ($15), Link to the Past ($15), Super Castlevania IV ($15), Mega Man X ($5), and Donkey Kong Country ($5) it's not like it wasn't money well-spent. Those are below-average prices for those games in the States. But I won't be doing any video game shopping for a good while now, I've hurt my wallet enough!

You really must get at least the second Donkey Kong Country, but also the third if you can. It's like getting the first Sonic but not the second two!

Hahaha, and while we're at it, get this game, and this game, and this game, and don't forget this game, and so on and so on.

There are a few in that list I don't have that I should consider picking up...I haven't played F-Zero in a long time...

That is a MUST HAVE SNES game as far as I'm concerned. Super Mario World, F-Zero, Pilotwings and Zelda III. Those are the defining SNES games for me. Three out of those four being launch titles might have something to do with it...
