Here is a conversation i had with a kid (probably around 8 or 10) on xbox live after he did a bad boom a few times in a row and kind of lost the round for us. (for anyone who doesnt know, you need a good boom to blind/attract zombies. Gets a good team kind of occupied and vulnerable.) I was joking around a lot with this kid before and he was a good sport about it. Dishing it out as well when i fucked up.
Me: you gotta get in there guns blazing and vomit coming out of your ears! I want you to turn into a fountain! If you don't do that i'm going to find where you live!
Him: (cutting me off): I know, I know, You are going to rape me.
Me: WHAT?! no. NO. EW. We were going to have a nice coversation. I WAS going to give you tips. But now i'm keeping my tips to myself!
And i think that when an 8 year old boy expects a stranger to threaten to forcibly fuck him, something might be wrong. Perhaps not with the platform, but with humanity.
