or at least release the old ones on xbox live/psn/vc

a new one on current gen, in the old style with current gen graphics/effects would be ideal

There is the danger that a modern version might end up being cockpit view 1st person. I'd prefer something 2D, HD, and brilliantly animated.

I think you underestimate just how many good Japanese artists have a hentai stint at some point (whether it's for self interest, or just to try and pay the rent during their "young struggling artist" phase).

On topic, yes we definitely need another in the Assault Suits series. Does Konami still own the franchise? They're still willing to pump out 2D Castlevania games. I'd love a Cybernator-DS!

Yes! I L.O.V.E. Cybernators! This is one of those rare games that I have actually continued to play throughout the years. I love the way the controls fully utilize every button on the SNES. The alternate endings are all cool too. This is one of the few games I have listed as "mastered" on my backloggery. I have done just about everything you can do with this game. I've leveled up all weapons, I've seen all the endings, I've explored some of the variations in the story pathways, and I can beat it quite quickly, though I've never timed myself.

I never played Target Earth because I never owned a genesis. I might have to give it a shot on an emulator though because I love these assault suit games.

Did you ever play Metal Warriors on the SNES? That was another great one.
Didn't Metal Warriors have split screen death match too?

Yes. Yes it did. I haven't tried it yet, but the idea tickles me.

It's awesome. It really is. IMO Metal Warriors is by FAR the better game. Missions are crazier, multiple ships, multiple mission paths, less floaty controls. God it was just awesome.

As for the A.S. series, you can't go wrong with Leynos for the saturn. Good Good fun.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

I didn't mean that in that I thought it was a bad thing, I mean't that the storyline and all the cutscenes were censored in America simply for the fact that is was a former hentai artist; even though they were as clean as could be.
