A few things about the Game Gear.

1. Get the AC adapter. It eats 6 AAs in about 4 hours.
2. Shining Force 2 Sword of Hadja is pretty good, as long as you don't already have Shining Force CD. The Goblins look like ass, but all the rest of the in-battle graphics are pretty good looking.

As others have already said, Shinobi 1 & 2 for GameGear (which are completely different titles than the Geneisis games) are absolutely fantastic and 'must have' in my opinion. In all honesty, if it weren't for them and Ristar I'd probably have gotten rid of my GG by now.

I always planned on getting an AC Adapter, I knew of the GG's legendary penchant for eating batteries alive.

Just for clarification I do not and never have owned a Master System.

There is actually quite a bit of decent software for the game gear. When Looking for a used one I found out the hard way to make sure to ask about sound volume as with the Turbo Express the Game Gear has a thing for failing audio. As for the games here are a few I have enjoyed.

Sonic
Sonic 2
Sonic Chaos
Battletoads
Double Dragon
Streets Of Rage
Megaman
X-men Mojo World
Shinobi
Shinobi 2
Ninja Gaiden
Mickey Mouse legend of illusion
Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion
Columns
Baku Baku
Bubble Bobble

Most can be had for dirt cheap and machines are about $5 if you look carefully just make sure to have a genesis 2 power adapter handy because it chews through batteries.

Hey, I know this is slightly off topic, but does anyone have a box scan for one of those Majesco game gears? I cant seem to find a picture of it on the internets
