Usually it means it a converted cart. It's a bootleg, but whoever did it killed another MVS cart to make it. "Fake label" means it's a photo copy. Game plays the same, just not worth much to a collector.

Take a look at my Blazing Star:

Majors wrote:$100??? Think more $10-50 unless you just don't have any access.

I do not fear bootlegs since I'm not a collector, I just want them to run. Yanton is a guy on ebay, but you can save fees by going direct:

Neo-Geo.com does have a good FS/T area, just don't get all crazy about complete kits and the ever money draining, Matching Serials. You can also try Shmups for deals also.

Suggested titles: Windjammers, Magical Drop 3, Real Bout 2, Nam, Ninja Masters. I never got into NG for beat'em ups so I never really got any but Sengoku 3 is good, but will run you some dough.

Welcome to the club.
Whoa.... never heard of this.
So these things just work in stock machines????

MOST bootlegs work without any issues.

There are a lot of them cropping up lately, but it's usually easy to see. Plus, if you buy from neo-geo.com forums, they list if it's boot or not 90% of the time.

Scratched serials
Missing serials
case color

there are a lot of ways to visually check for boots.

I do have a question about that site. If the label is listed as fake, what does that mean?
It just means its not the original label, he printed off a duplicate one.

After all I've heard about this game, it's definatly going on my bucket list.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
