I think you grossly over-estimate the current market value of Rock Band / Guitar Hero controllers.
I think you grossly under-estimate my local Salvation Army store. I've seen board games with broken boxes and missing pieces going for $5+.

Finally found some good retro at the local pawn.

Spent $39 and got these SNES and NES games along with COD: Advanced Warfare for PS3 for my nephew. SNES with bad label is DKC 2.

Found an envelope in my supplies closet and thought it was just a spare, but upon opening it, it was umd only Astonishia Story for the PSP. I always thought it was mailed to me as a return envelope so I never opened it for at least a year lol. I don't even remember buying it, any one interested?

Finally had a day off to go games hunting!

After two weeks in the doldrums because my car was brokedown and out of commission.

But the car is fixed and I went across the border into town to do the usual rounds!

Which is not an easy task right now, since the weather here is 105+ degrees.

At my local fleamarket I picked up four N64 games at $5.00 each. It's about the only things gaming related I found. It as already close to noon and many stalls were already closed.

I picked up Command and Conquer, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-man Maze Madness and Spiderman

After leaving the fleamarket, I headed farther into the county and went directly to the only Salvation Army in town. There I got more lucky and for $5.00 I got a bunch of media and gaming stuffs we all know and love! Mechassualt OXBOX, Adventure Time Season 1, Burt wonderstone DVD, A book on Russian Fairy tales. And more wonderful strategy guides!

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Assasssin's Creed 3 (hardcover), Prince Of Persia, Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception, and Jak and Daxter The Lost frontier. $5.00 well spent!

Then I headed over to a Target department store that has a gamestop in the same center. Hit up Target first. And although they had some games clearance, I couldn't buy them all yet. So I picked up Rayman Origins 3DS for $8.98 and Pac-man and the Ghostly Adventures 3DS for $5.98.

After that I hit up the gamestop and while I was going through the $5.00 games I decided to ask the clerk if he had any DS games still with boxes, he did. I ended up picking out Ace Attorney Apollo Justice DS for $14.39 I had a coupon that lowered it from $20. Also not pictured is a copy of Halo 4 for xbox360. I got that for $4.49. But who cares about that?

But you know what made this day even more damn awesome? It was something I found
over on the wii games section.

Spoiler-ing it for dramatic effect........DRUM ROLL PLEASE........

FUCKING DATA EAST CLASSICS! I was squeeing like a 12year old fan-girl

I've been looking for this game for years now! And Its finally mine! I've been kicking myself ever since I didn't buy it at a Tucson Gamestop four years ago for $10. I thought I would have been able to find it again. But the game got stupid rare and expensive. But it was there at the gamestop! Under a spotlight and a chorus of Angels! There it was! DATA EAST ARCADE CLASSICS! In plain sight in their wii section! Paid $13.50 for it. But its damn worth it. Online this rare games sells for way over $90 dollars! But now its mine!
I'm so happy that I didn't sleep in today! Otherwise I would have missed out on that lovey piece of gaming goodness!

Sweet! Nice Find, crazy how that game has gone up in price. Arcade Stick works beautiful; either the Wii Tatsunoko Capcom Stick or a Mayflash adapter with a Playstation Arcade setup.

Went to a Pawn Shop that I've been going to for about 2 years now, and found some amazing deals...

They had a lot of 3DO games for $1, so i got 13 of them. They were:

Alone in the Dark, Doom, Gex, Dragon's Lair, Escape From Monster Manor, Dungeons & Dragons Advanced: Slayer, System Shock 1 & 2, Shanghai: Triple Threat, Way of the Warrior, Family Feud, Fifa International sports, and Foes of Ali, all for $13. :D

They were all disc only, some looked great, & some were extremely scratched, so they might not work. I don't have a 3DO at the moment, so only time will tell. :)

I also got an Atari 7800 for $10, because i was able to haggle down from $50. :D

If you guys are interested in pics, I'll be happy to send some.

EDIT: forgot some!

I got Iron Sword: W&W 2 for $2, RC Pro AM for $1, Startropics 1 for $4, & Startropics 2 for $3. :P
