I saw that and thought you were talking about Megaman V for the Gameboy for a second. That game is fun but definitely not easy.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

5 is the easiest of the original 6 due to an insanely overpowered charge shot and the frequency of random item drops being turned up too high (specifically health and lives). Inafune has even admitted to going too far when reducing the difficulty for that one. It's one of the reasons it's the black sheep of the NES games.

Does anyone know of a way to play an emulated game online with friends? My friend and I would very much like to play through FFIX together simultaneously, but, uh, can't find a way.

If this technology doesn't exist, I'm sure whoever makes it will make a good amount of dough!

There are some netplay plugins for ePSXe that utilize Kaillera.

holy shiznit. I just found this publisher called Console Classics on Steam who has been porting what looks like mostly PS1 games to Steam recently.

http://store.steampowered.com/search/?p ... 20Classics

But it's some of the weirder stuff, which is good.

GUNBIRD IS ON STEAM NOW!!!! (as Mobile Light Force, of course... but still).

N2O is solid. You should play it if you haven't done so already. Sol Divide is a lot of fun too (in a corny, dated, pre-rendered-sprites sort of way).

I feel like I saw this somewhere before; aren't these just the PS1 games in an emulator wrapper? Not sure how they get away with it, but hey.

well a lot of those games were published by XS games on PS1, who I believe were just one of those companies that localized weird Japanese stuff here and sold them at budget prices. My guess is this new Console Classics publisher just bought the rights to XS's catalog. Or... maybe CC is XS.

Whatever, whatever. Gunbird is on Steam now!!!

The new Wesker Mode is totally game breaking to the mechanics and the canon itself but IT LOOKS AWESOME AS HELL! Rebecca looks great too.

Definetly this increased my want list for Ps4 games to... 4.
