I've added a lot of nice doodads in the last two months, for pretty good prices over all. I'm over the moon on picking up Cyborg 009 for a pretty good price, and I found a pretty hot deal on Devastator. Also stoked about Legend of Xanadu II, and while I feel like I over payed a little on Gradius V, and plopped a little more than I would have liked to on Gradius Gaiden, I'm really happy to complete my non-Nemesis/digital/handheld Gradius/Salamander set.

Some of the PC downloads, and the GBP controller are really the only things from July. August is really the first month I've picked up much more than PC downloads in quite a while, and the rest of the year will probably look a lot less like August as well.

Picked up Darkest of Days for the 360 today what a weird game hadn't even heard of it till today. Looks like a pretty interesting romp through a variety of time periods with an oddball time traveling plot.

Alrighty; here's what I managed to nab in August. Hoping that I remember all of this; it's not as big as last month, but it's still big enough to forget most of them.

Atari 2600:
Barnstorming (CIB): $2
Millipede: $2.50 (This one didn't work at all, for some reason)
Basic Programming: $2.50
Pheonix: $1
Maze Mania: A Game of Cops & Robbers: $1

SEGA Genesis:
Sub Terrania: $1
Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble: Free (buy 2 get 1 free deal)

Nintendo 64:
Midway Greatest Arcade Hits: $2.50
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: $2.50
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter: $2.50
Spider-Man: $8
Lego Racers: $2
Glover (With protective N64 case, and instructions): $2

NES:
Elevator Action: $3
Xevious: $1

3DO:
DOOM (Disc only): $20
Gex (disc only): $7.50

Xbox:
The Cat In The Hat: $2
Sonic Mega Collection Plus: $2
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne: $1
The House of the Dead 3: $5.95
Guilty Gear X2 #Reload: $3.95
Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Collector's Edition): $5

Game Gear:
Super Battle Tanks (CIB): $1
Aladdin: $2

Game Boy:
NBA Live '96 (CIB): $1

Game Boy Advance:
GBA system with about 8 games, 15 E-Reader cards, a magnifier with a light, and a carrying case: $20
Pac-Man Collection: $4

PS2:
PK: Out of the Shadows: $2 (Didn't work, but there's a couple of tiny scratches on it, so I assume I can just buff 'em out with a disc cleaner)

SNES:
Shaq Fu: $1
Judge Dredd: $1
Super Pinball: Behind The Mask (CIB): $2
Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games: $1
Batman Forever: $1

BTW; I don't have a 3DO, and I really only bought those games, because my brother was just gonna flat out sell them, so I made a deal with him to get those in particular, so when I get a 3DO, I can have some titles to play.

If I forgot one at all, I'm updating this.

Total: 16 games, 1 console, several accessories acquired - -£26.70

I spent a ton this month, but managed to make a profit overall as I sold off a bunch of games I didn't want (mostly doubles).

All of the stuff marked as 'free' were very generous gifts from mjmjr for the Racketboy Secret Santa. Thanks dude!

The Dreamcast is to replace my broken one. I'll probably sell Sonic and Soul Calibur - I already own them. I'll sell my old one console too. It's an ebay purchase, so £7 is the postage costs.

I listed Project Mirai and Summon Night 5 as I've already paid for them. Neither will be here for a while though.

The Game Gear games were bought to go with a Game Gear console I'm giving a buddy for his birthday. I'm keeping a few, the rest are going in his box. The console is the main gift - this is just so he has something to play on it! Ebay again, £3 is the postage.

Street Fighter was an ebay purchase too.

I'm excited for my Power Base Converter to arrive. It's custom hardware from dbelectronics that adds FM sound to SMS games. Can't wait.

Technically I also paid for a Retro Game Box this month, but I don't have the games yet to see what I got. I'll pick it up tomorrow, it can join next months list.

A slow month for pickups but this was a good grab for the Retron 5 and it's just a little better than the NES version.

lol Well, I've had my Atari for almost 2 years now. I have a weird love for it, because despite it being a pretty old system, with graphics that look pretty aged by today's standards, it's still got some fun titles, and a lot of hidden gems, honestly. :)

I've been trying to bump my Atari 2600 collection up a bit, since I haven't added to it in a while (mainly due to other consoles taking priority over it, as of recent). Before this month's haul, I think the last time I ever picked up an Atari 2600 cart, was sometime back in May, when I got a CIB copy of some game called Squeeze Box.
