Honestly the hardware intrigues me more than the games. It's just a really neat piece of gaming history.

As for the Neo Geo stuff - Years ago I made a firm commitment to never pay more than $50 for an MVS or AES game and I've stuck to it.

None for me now. I have had some of the more obscure or expensive systems like AES, Neo CD, Jag w/ CD, 7800, Coleco... Most of those I either lost interest in, or didn't play enough to justify their price. I did really like the AES, but with a consolized MVS, it was redundant and had more expensive games.

The systems I want the most from my own region are:

Sega Master System
Sega CD
Sega 32X
Sega Game Gear
Nintendo Virtual Boy
NES M2
GameBoy Advance M1 + SP M2
GBA Micro
New 3DS

And sure, a Neo Geo AES, why not?
I would see a consolized MVS only as a way to scratch that itch, but it wouldn't solve it for me, sadly.

TurboGrafx CD would be pretty sweet, but is just silly in price.

I also need a second N64 so I can mod it up. Really don't want to mod any of my original systems. They have sentimental value!

I've also started noticing I really want a lot of systems from Japan. Even if I have no desire to play games on them, I really like how a lot of them look over their American counterparts. In particular, the Saturn M2 and even the launch Mega Drive. I really love how they look. I think the American ones look like turds in comparison.

Maybe an XBox One some day, for $15.

Maybe for the novelty factor I'd go for the Bandai Pippin and FM Towns Marty.
I actually had a chance at obtaining the latter in pretty good condition for less than $200 back in 2011. I passed on it. Have kind of regretted it ever since.

This last few months I actually got my systems I have been wanting back to some point.
Ps2 slim
Nes model 1 and 2
Master system model 2
TurboGrafx
If I had to choose one more that I want or passes or gave up it would have to be an snes. That I think would be the only system I would go for.

And much appreciated but you really don't have too. I've moved on to bigger and more powerful consoles. The 360 I have can play those 8 Xbox games so I'm covered there. The other two, in a perfect world, I would have gotten them. But since I've lost those systems, it has opened me up to PC so I'm covered there too with an enormous back log of games to play!

Yeah everything is coming along great! They redid all of the beach area and sort of make it into a park. The boardwalk area is very lively. It felt awesome last month when I walk by there to see stands selling assorted lights and a lot of people. They are also building this giant sports complex ajaicent to the hospital property line on Father Cap off of Sand Lane. I'll PM you with a pic when I can capture one.

All in all they have built back better than ever! As for me personally, everything is all good! Thanks for the concern much appreciated.
Sounds great man, glad it's coming along. Offer is always on the table as we're both from the same borough homey. ;) thanks for the update!

Sega Neptune
Neo-Geo (both AES and MVS 8) )
TG16 or some variant
Maybe something like a 3DO and Virtual Boy for kicks.

I have a Neo Geo AES w/ an MVS-to-AES converter. It's pretty cool, but the price of entry was high and it's a tad cumbersome.

Most hardcore Neo dudes seem to use a CMVS or a cab in addition to an AES.
